TCL TV Remote finds your TV on your Wi‑Fi network and connects in seconds. It works with TCL TVs running Android TV or Google TV, Roku TV and Fire TV. For older TCL TVs without Wi‑Fi, use the infrared (IR) remote on phones with a built-in IR blaster.
What you can do:
• Power, volume, mute and channels
• Navigate with the arrow keys, OK, Back and Home
• Touchpad for fast scrolling (Android TV / Google TV)
• Type into search fields with your phone's keyboard, including voice typing (Android TV / Google TV and Roku TV)
• Open your TV apps straight from your phone (Roku TV and Fire TV)
• Number pad, input and source keys, and playback controls
• Infrared remote for non-smart TCL TVs (needs a phone with an IR blaster)
Easy setup:
1. Connect your phone and your TV to the same Wi‑Fi network.
2. Open the app and pick your TV from the list.
3. Android TV / Google TV and Fire TV: enter the code shown on your TV.
4. Roku TV: if the buttons don't respond, turn on ""Control by mobile apps"" in the Roku settings. The app shows you how.
Tips:
• TV not found? Make sure the TV is switched on and turn off any VPN on your phone.
• Your phone and TV must be on the same Wi‑Fi network.
